ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE PROGRAM AND VISITING ARTISTS
LECTURES |
|
SVA continues to facilitate an Artist-in-Residence
Program, both independently as well as in collaboration
with other institutions and artists organizations. Since
2006, we have been host to three artists from the U.K,
as part of the HAT (Here and There) Project.
Chatwin:Martin, a collaborative team of Pamela Martin
and Peter Chatwin, and Tabitha Moses, worked in the
studios at the Tarogil Campus and conducted regular
tutorials and talks, while furthering their own artistic
practices. As part of the HAT exchange between BNU and
MMU (Manchester Metropolitan University), Masooma Syed
and Rashid Rana, SVA faculty members, were hosted by MMU
for three months of creating and exhibiting work. In
2008-09, BNU will continue the artist-in-residence
program, between Lahore and the UK with Peter Chatwin
and Pamela Martin exhibiting their work in Lahore. |
