Kaneez Aslam taught at the Department of Literature and Language, Punjab University for over three decades before joining the Lahore University of Management Sciences to teach an undergraduate program. Her areas of interest include Poetry and Drama.

ii) Uzma Aslam Khan acclaimed author of Trespassing conducted a Six Week Workshop on The Craft Of Fiction
iii)Prof. Norbert Schmitz on The Influence of Silent German Films on Modernity
   
2. Starting Line Films
    i)The SLA Film and Video production platform ensures that students write and produce their own projects. Screenings are held annually.
ii)The Shahid Rahman Cash Award is presented each year for the best Screenplay in an open competition.
iii) Foreign Film Festivals
   
3. Theatre Workshops
    Visiting practitioners from other countries conduct workshops. 2005 Workshops include:
i)From Theatre to Film: A study in techniques Hal Ryder, Drama Coach USA
ii) Choreography/ Script Analysis
Faculty from Delhi Academy of Dramatic Arts, (DADA), New Delhi
