The School of Education (SE) was established in response to the deeply felt need in Pakistan and the region for improvement in quality of teacher education. The aim of the School is to meet the challenge of numerous educational problems and the paucity of effective teacher training models through its programmes and courses. These courses are geared towards professional development of teachers and educational administrators, leading to institutional capacity building.

The courses offered by SE are designed with inquiry and argument as their main impetus. The teaching and assessment techniques used by the School encourage experiential and problem-solving learning. SE also places a lot of emphasis on research. Students are encouraged to gain insights from research in pedagogy to develop skills and values needed for imparting quality education.

The School caters to both in-service and pre-service educational professionals from both public and private sector. Through these courses and programmes, the School reaches a diverse population of educational professionals from different education sectors and levels.

Institutional Rebate:
The School of Education facilitates development of educational institutions by offering a 30% institutional rebate on tuition fee for three or more teachers and administrators from the same institution.
